Sherene Zolno

Ms. Zolno is an executive coach and consultant with nearly 25 years in the field, and a dedicated teacher at Leadership Institute of Seattle. In addition to the University of Florida and San Francisco State University, she has studied at the Universita Per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. She has served as faculty at the universities of San Francisco and Phoenix, Bastyr University, and Santa Ana College.
A Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC), and a Certified Coach, Ms. Zolno is also a Certified Master Neurolinguistic Programmer/Trainer. She is certified in the delivery of the Management Excellence Inventory, United States Office of Personnel Management; and in the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). In addition, she trained with David Cooperrider, Ph.D., in the Appreciative Inquiry process, and, with his support, founded The Leading Clinic, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization based in the Pacific Northwest, that is committed to furthering Appreciative Leadership in organizational life.
Ms. Zolno has been asked to keynote a number of national conferences, including the Association for Humanistic Psychology’s annual international conference, the American Society for Training and Development’s national conference, the Equity in Employment Conference of the Commission on Human Relations, and the California Bar Association’s annual conference. In addition, she has published many articles in professional journals. She is a member of the Organizational Development Network, Association for Humanistic Psychology, and American Society for Training and Development, and has received a number of awards for her work including The Public Image Award of the Health Services Personnel Council, Los Angeles County, and the Outstanding Contributor Award from the American Society for Training and Development.
Ms. Zolno’s client work includes designing and facilitating whole-system change processes at numerous organizations, including at a regional health center at the Port of Tacoma, in local cities, and at several community-based organizations, applying expertise gained in working within several major industries (banking, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, etc.). Her interests are in leadership, large-scale change, teambuilding, organizational assessment, improving communication, mentoring, and building competent workforce/learners.
